Lenalea Wind Farm – 2021 – 2023

Lenalea Wind Farm is a 30.1MW Wind Farm located near Letterkenny in Co. Donegal. The development consists of seven Vestas V117 – 4.3MW Turbines

Omexom Ireland’s scope included the full Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the 110/33kV AIS Substation and 110kV Overhead Line Loop In Connection of the Letterkenny Binbane 110kV Circuit and all associated works for the connection of the 33kV Collector Cable Circuits.

The extent of the works included:

• Fulfilling the role of PSCS.

• All Civil and Electrical Design & Grid Compliance Studies.

• Construction of new 110kV Substation as per EirGrid Specs.

• Construction of new 33kV IPP Substation for SSE Renewables.

• Design, Procurement and Construction of Grid Connection.

• Procurement and Installation of MV Collector Cabling.

• All Commissioning works on site.
